Acrylic Vitrines

Museum-quality presentation and dust protection

SmallCorp manufactures museum-quality acrylic vitrines, also known as acrylic covers or bonnets, from clear, UV-filtering, or Optium Museum Acrylic®. Our vitrines are custom made to your size specifications to fit SmallCorp cases as well as cases made by others. This is particularly helpful when a changing exhibition requires a taller vitrine for a larger artifact or an existing vitrine is damaged during handling.

We also make museum-quality acrylic box frames for framing purposes.

We manufacture both 4-sided and 5-sided museum-quality covers. Our clear and UV acrylic process is free of solvent adhesives and we hand polish our vitrines to achieve a beautiful clear glue joint. Alternatively, our anti-reflective Optium Museum Acrylic® vitrines are made using a patented process utilizing specialized tools and proprietary techniques.

Material Options

  • Clear and UV-filtering vitrines are made from 1/4”, 3/8” and 1/2” acrylic
  • Optium Museum Acrylic® vitrines are made from 6mm material
