Fillets
Spacers for picture frame glazing
Fillets are thin picture frame spacers positioned around the perimeter of the frame to prevent the protective glazing from coming in contact with your artwork. Also known as art glass separators, fillets add visual appeal and are a simple way to enhance your presentation by adding extra depth.
In addition to the aesthetic possibilities, fillets protect your art against buckling and adhesion to the glazing.
Our fillets are sized for box lap installation (see image below) and made to fit your frame. Fillets do not come with installed adhesive for installation in the frame. Customer must attach their own tape or adhesive.
Acrylic fillets
Our archival acrylic picture frame fillets are affordable and easy to mount using double-sided tape or other adhesives. We offer solid-color acrylic fillets in white or black with a glossy finish. Fillets are cut to fit your frame.

Lightweight fillets
Lightweight fillets are fully archival, and as the name suggests, very lightweight. They consist of aluminum faces with a foam or low-density polyethylene core, finished in any of our standard powdercoat colors, and are sized to fit your frame. They’re typically powdercoated to match the frame, but can also be finished with a complementary color.

Aluminum fillets
These solid aluminum spacers are easy to install and very durable. They are sized to fit your frame and can be powdercoated in one of our standard colors, or brushed. While they are typically finished to match the frame, aluminum fillets can also be made with a complementary color. Dimensions are based on available material.
